ET.20.009 – Designing with solar photovoltaic technologies
How can we design our buildings, cities, mobility systems and landscapes in such a way, that every surface will be able to generate photovoltaic solar power, and hence reduce CO2 emissions due to living, transport and economic activities with a factor 20. To answer this question, we will conduct design-driven research leading to an optimized performance of PV technologies, lower costs, enhanced user acceptance, improved regulations and laws, diverse eco-systems, as well as customizable aesthetic features of PV applications in the built environment, vehicles and various landscapes.
